Washington County has installed a permanent drop off box for people who have unused and unwanted prescriptions in effort to keep them out of the hands of those that are suffering from drug abuse.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Department installed a permanent prescription drug drop-off box in Fayetteville.
The box ix located inside the main entrance of the Sheriff’s Office at 1155 Clydesdale Drive.
Many people take medications not knowing what the effects may be or they just heard it would get them high. That is a very dangerous situation because many prescription drugs can kill a person.
