Medicine Cabinet
Family Medicine cabinets are a breeding groups for prescription drug addiction. Many teenagers get their start from their parents medicine cabinets and it’s time to make sure that medicine cabinets are secure so that our youth don’t start using prescription drugs.
Miller said many kids, like Megan, get their fix from the family medicine cabinet. In hers, Megan found Oxycontin, an opiate prescribed for chronic pain and one of the most abused prescription drugs in America.
Drug Addiction Treatment Centers use drug education as a means to communicate the dangers of prescription drug abuse so that teens are aware of all the dangers.
