Narconon Found to be Effective Treatment for Bath Salt Addiction II

Posted on the 19 December, 2011 at 1:03 pm Written by in Drug Info

There is a very serious new addiction that many people are suffering from today. It is to a new line of designer drugs that are being sold as “bath salts” and “plant foods”. The effects of these drugs are said to be similar to cocaine, ecstasy, and methamphetamine. Different brands apparently have different effects.

No Sleep No Sanity

People are reporting that after using these drugs, even after just one use, they are finding it impossible to eat or sleep for days at a time. With some of the brands, the first half an hour is supposedly more euphoric than the remainder of the high. Some people have started chasing that first half hour of euphoria and will continue to keep using these drugs over and over again. When a person does not stop using in this manner, it can cause them to stay up and not eat for days and days at a time. The person will then go on to suffer from psychosis from lack of food and sleep.

Drug abuse to any drug that causes the person to not sleep or eat can have these types of effects. The problem with the bath salts is that it is a new drug and there is no long term research been done on the effects on the user over a long period of time. It is not known whether the psychosis that the person suffers from will ever go away or if there is some types of treatment that will help the person get over the effects of this drug.

Many people who have gone into this type of delirium have suffered hallucinations. Some of the hallucinations are not pleasant. There have been many reports of people battling police officers because they did not think that they were police officers, but some type of demon or imposter. There also have been reports of people having battles with phantom people and injuring themselves because they used weapons in these fights. Later it would come to light that any injuries that the person would suffer, would be from themselves, and there had not been any other person involved in these fights at all.  In this part of this article we are going to go over an account of one man who became addicted to these designer drugs and how it effected his life. We will talk about his life before and after addiction to the drugs and how he got to use them in the first place and the history of his other drug use. We are also going to discuss how Narconon drug addiction treatment alleviated most of his symptoms and how he is doing today.

Tommy’s Story

Tommy was born in the early sixties. He was put up for adoption and then adopted while he was still an infant. His parents got along pretty well up until the time that he was six or seven years old. His father then began to have a battle with alcoholism that lasted all of Tommy’s life.

Tommy grew up in a time where drug use was common. As a teenager and adult he would smoke marijuana often and would also drink alcohol quite often. He had an extreme personality and whatever drug that was going around he would do and he would want to do more than anybody else.

Tommy Grows Up

When Tommy got a little older, in his mid twenties or so, he met a girl that he fell in love with. They got married and ended up having two sons. When Tommy became a family man he decided that he needed to settle down and provide his family with a good source of income.

Now Tommy had always like to fish and fish was a good way that he figured he would make a living. He did the research and found out where people bought the fresh fish that is used to make sushi. He decided that he would buy a truck and become a sushi fish distributer. He was able to do just that. He got in good with the people who caught the fish and pretty soon was able to develop such solid relationships with those guys that he was able to get the best fish in town. After he would buy it, he would then put it in his refrigerated truck and make rounds to all the best sushi places. Tommy lived in a large city where there were a lot of sushi restaurants. Pretty soon the owners of the restaurants saw that Tommy had the best fish and the best customer service and after a while all the restaurants bought their fish from him. He did so well that he put all the other fresh fish distributors out of business. He was making a really good living dealing with the one thing that he loved better than anything else; fish.

Tommy Finds Moderation

During this time when his business was booming and he was working everyday as a family man, Tommy’s drug and alcohol use was greatly diminished. He would still go to a party every now and then and use or have a drink sometimes, but for the most part he was mainly sober. He became quite successful in his business and for a while he had a happy family life with his wife and two sons. He was satisfied with the hard work he was doing and did not have the need to use things that would cause an artificle sense of happiness. He had the real thing.

Tommy Gets a Divorce

After being married for about seven years, Tommy and his wife’s relationship began to deteriorate. They began to get in huge arguments and found it impossible to get along. After about a year of this Tommy and his wife decided that it would be better for the children if they got a divorce. They felt that it would be healthier for the kids to grow up where their parents where happy and loving people that were divorced than mean and miserable people that where married. They got divorced and went their separate ways. They only time that they would have contact with each other was when they would be picking up or dropping off the kids for visitation. The boys lived the majority of the time with their mother and would see their father on the weekends.
